About Negotiated Scope

How It Works

Used primarily for private projects, Negotiated Scope bids allow a private owner the opportunity to select a contractor during the design phase of a project. Negotiated Scope typically involves a Guarantee Maximum Price (GMP) and is generally similar to CM at Risk (apart from timing of contractor selection).
