Phased construction began in December 2008 and was completed in April 2010. A new gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen and fine arts area were built and renovations to existing science labs, and media center were completed.
Thompson Turner completed the construction while the facility was occupied by staff and students, successfully minimizing the interruption of everyday school classes and activities.
